The war against The Machines escalates, and it's a race between them digging down to Zion and The One pushing his way into the core of The Matrix for reason that wasn't explained very well.

If there are people out there who saw the first one and somehow get to this post before seeing this movie, please avoid this. Yes it's more of the same and it's "good", but this is a shit story that should be skipped.

This movie does not have an ending. It is part one of a mandatory two-movie binge.

  1. The Matrix - (1999 movie)
  2. The Matrix Reloaded - (2003 movie)
  3. The Matrix Revolutions - (2003 movie)

The fates of two dumbasses is challenged by an man from their future, bent on bending their future-utopia into his world-domination.

An excellent movie. Though it does suffer from some generation-drift, it suffers far less than its predecessor. It's not childish, but it is light enough to be "young". Enjoyable, well-written and recommended. Grab a beer and some popcorn with your buddies and enjoy this at least once.

Two dumbass kids are given a time machine to help with their oral report for history class.

These were simple times, where a movie's comedy was as light as the effort to make it. A straightforward no-thought movie, perfect for getting drunk and talking funny. Though I recommend it, I fear it is drifting away from its original target ages and may only be good for people old enough to have already seen this.

A hacker learns reality is not as it appears.

A sci-fi ripoff of elements of Lucid dreaming, with elements taken from the Neuromancer/Shadowrun "cyberpunk" genres.

A pioneering movie for special effects, which have held up quite well, and its general pot and atmosphere. Technically not original for science fiction fans, but great nonetheless.

One of my favourites, although I really wish the actor playing Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) was good looking.
