In general, this is a wonderful program. A great editor, and it’s quite easy to use.

A Free and open source 3d creation suite and video editor.

3d editing: Said to be very difficult to use, and it is. There is an argument that in mastering it one gains a huge set of capabilities with one tool. I was unable to get that far.

Video editing: Defaults are stupid and features are missing. Maybe it’ll be passable in a few years.

  • It has a portable zip, with no install required. Yay!

A filesystem I use because of checksumming and de-duplication.

Very good, although I’ve had a sketchy history with it. I’ve used multiple versions of it, sometimes mounting the same partition with different versions of it.

I stopped using it because I lost trust in its reliability.

The current god of file managers.

It’s bloody amazing, and does so much “just right”. I can tell that the author has his head on straight. It ought to be the default in every Linux distribution which uses GTK+.
