Yeah, I haven’t updated this in a while. I’ll revisit this concept eventually.
I haven’t really decided what I should focus on this July, August, September. I’ll keep this post updated.

TODO – absorb World of Warcraft addon notes

This has pretty much always been out of date, and I stopped playing a long time ago. Having said that, this is a useful rabbit hole for historical research and private servers.
You might want to see my list of “live” addons.

It’s simplicity is overdone to the point of losing functionality. Some of its preferences are so wrong that I can’t use it, and because it’s inflexible I can’t fix their mistakes.
2014-08-04 – I’ve been using an offline downloading solution for some time, but haven’t had the time to write up a proper HOWTO.
Archives are normally stored in /var/cache/apt/archives/, but I wanted to know how to download an archive directly to a specified directory.
TODO – I have this email archived as subject: “PSN-SOE-Canada Settlement” and I should post it up here for completeness.
I lot of people have been getting a “PSN-SOE-Canada Settlement” letter.
People are saying it’s legit.
They’re full of shit.
[edit: Yep, it was a hoax]
I bumped into an interesting old article. Since it’s nowhere else on the web I thought I’d share it.

THE PLACE TO BE
Product placement is big business, benefiting both movie studios (who get their props for free) and corporate marketers (who gain valuable exposure for their products). Done right, it can be amazingly cost-effective. Leveraged properly, it can drive sales. But the entertainment business can also be unpredictable and occasionally unkind.
Simply put, people talk to themselves to feed data back into themselves for additional storage and processing.

Libertarianism is a topic I’m mildly interested in.. just not enough to do actual research. =p
I don’t think it’s possible to get there from here. I also believe wholeheartedly that no proponent of Libertarianism actually knows what the fuck is actually going on in the world, otherwise I would expect to see several idea markers.

When raising a point, it’s essential for it to not have alternatives. Otherwise it doesn’t serve the argument.
This is a pretty straightforward way to dismiss essential point in many arguments for the existence of deities.
