An English interface. This might have been just an English modification of the original stuff or a whole new distribution. I’m fuzzy on that.
The batteries on my Zaurus SL-C1000 failed to work, so I did some looking around and found a solution.
My battery could charge and would boot up my device. While it showed as fully charged it would “drain” extremely quickly.
Following these instructions I was able to completely resurrect one battery, but a second one did not work. That second battery had a bit of a bulge, so I’m guessing it went completely bad.

A military unit is sent on missions in a future where all of humanity is at war with alien insects.
The show is animated, and not “anime”. As such, it has not held up well with time. The music is fantastic, though. Truly. However, its other high points do not make up for the visual issue I have.
While it doesn’t do it for me, I would recommend this for fans of the movie or movie series who can also handle the visual style and jerky movement that to me is reminiscent of ReBoot – (1994 show).

Update: Fuck it, why bother? It’s unreasonable to have a personal journey.. the interface just sucks. There’s no concept of getting back to where one was. I hear waypoints might work, so I’ll give that a shot.. but perhaps in the next galaxy or some such.

Explore, survive, gather and trade while making your way to the galactic core.
Every single described goal of this game has failed. It is a bad flight-simulator, with bad crafting, bad technology, and bad survival mechanics. It is set on procedurally generated planets so vast that nothing matters, in a procedurally-generated universe so vast that nothing matters. What’s worse is that it is so godawfully crowded with hand-holding that it becomes both easy and repetitive. Being ugly and with abysmal performance, it’s not even an exploration time-waster.
Perhaps in some years they will change/fix many of its issues, but I believe it has a fundamental casualness to it that anchors its core gameplay problems. This is not a game made for gamers.
2017-05-07 update: I tried it again, and it just isn’t worth it. If its graphics were the same as before (they’re busted now) then maybe. I have another video card but I’m not going to swap things around or fiddle with installing an old version of my card’s drivers. I just don’t want to bother any more.

A UI for the Shadow-Lord Iskar fight. Allows one to double-click to pass the eye, and right-click to dispel. Mandatory for that fight.
I configure it so it looks like a clone of my regular raid frames.

I played the open beta. I found it fun, but not worth money. When I was given it for free a while later, I didn’t find it all that great.
