Tor can be thought of like a secure proxy.
I experimented with it during my research on Replacing Firefox.
UPDATE: Tor has been subverted for some time. I know when and how, with confirmation, but not by whom.
It must not be used for high-level security requirements (governmental, military, international) and probably even mid-level requirements (corporate, police). Little people using it as a proxy are fine.
Don’t do anything illegal with it if you’re within three degrees of a Bad Guy. So.. don’t use it for anything illegal. Remember that PRISM records everything, so that, once flagged, you can be found retroactively guilty (even by association) for past internet usage.

This book is mind blowing. I think the best description I can give of what it’s topic and goals are is to present the first chapter, in full. From here I think anyone interested in the subject will understand fully where this book is going and the intentions of the authors.

This is a folowup to Anonymity and mechanics enable immorality, which – in short- explain some trolling and describe why I think direct opposition to trolling is not as effective as addressing underlying mechanics.
Now I want to go over some issues with YouTube features.

This appears to be incomplete, and might have been badly-ported from an ancient system to the earlier system, with information being lost in that transition.
There have been previous and there are current efforts to organize users to resist certain trollish behaviors.
My concern, and my suggested solution runs much deeper.

Though it’s definitely recommended for most people to watch and understand, I didn’t particularly like it because I knew everything in it and wasn’t entertained, and so I sold it at a profit.
