A man travels back in time to save the husband of the woman he grew up idolizing.
Not a terrible movie, but it really breaks down into a confusing mess past the half-way mark. It does make up for things near the end though, which is a good recovery. So for a direct-to-video movie, it does pretty good for itself.
Not to be confused with The Suicide Squad – (2021 movie). Somehow.

Having fallen from grace, two friends are reunited in their pursuit of ghosts, eventually forming a band of four who fight them. And stuff.
This is neither a sequel to the actual Ghostbusters – (1984 movie), nor is it anything in its style or quality. It’s just a theft of the franchise. It shits all over it. Ignoring all of that, it’s still an awful movie on its own.
This is not a comedy! Don’t mistake it for one! The only funny scene had nothing to do with the main characters.
This is a steaming pile of shit. Do not watch it!

A guy who builds the technology to turn dirt into water goes to Mars, and even though he knows the ship better than anyone else, somehow, he has trouble on the way.
A patient, somewhat interesting movie. Worth watching if you’re into such things, but definitely not if you’re new to this style.
I watched the whole thing, and don’t really regret it, but I wouldn’t categorize this as anywhere near awesome.

Not a particularly good movie. Definitely not worth a watch for science fiction movie fans. I don’t know who the target audience is supposed to be. There’s no character development, poor drama, uninspired action, un-notable writing.. so un-notable that I made a word up. Screw you, red squiggle.. I defy you.

A man attains mystical powers originally for selfish reasons, but they taint with a life fraught with danger and demons.
Not a bad show, but the lead character’s personality isn’t attracting, and there’s the old celestial stick-up-the-ass personality in another. The lead female is hot. Hotty hot hot.
This was cancelled after one season. Back in the 90s this show would have done well, but I’m guessing this genre has alternately been well-poisoned or saturated. This show has too much it has to be better than to catch enough attention to survive. I think that it’s magic-fantasy was competing with an extraordinarily-strong superhero-fantasy genre.
.. which in turn is based on the DC comic book series Hellblazer.

An Old One is awakened, and renews his takeover of the world.. except we already know the good guys win because this takes place in the 80s and a past movie, set in the then-future, has an intact world with all characters accounted for.
A standard superhero movie, with nothing particularly interesting. Extremely confusing given that this is a sequel to a sequel to a prequel or some shit.
I would have done a few things different, and even a few subtle changes would have made this movie a hell of a lot better.
Definitely pass on this unless you’re really into this particular series.

A meteor (I think) strikes the Atlantic Ocean, sending tidal waves that not only scour shores but destroy entire continents, the resulting wave of which approaches Australia. Except the tidal wave is made of fire for some reason.
I’ve not much to say about it. It’s a decent movie.

Single people are in a hotel and must fall in love, and they hunt other people for sport to gain extra days to do it.
This is just a shit movie. The little twangs of music are unnecessarily unnerving, the narration is pointless and fucking annoying and everyone’s manner of speech is .. well it grates on my nerves.
