A rich computer program pulls a race car driver into the future so he can date his ex girlfriend.

It’s so damned 90s but I like it a lot.

A drug reveals an alien world.

It has undertones which could make it very disturbing, however it is half-tainted by and half-infused with comedy. With a unique universe and being extremely watchable, this is definitely memorable and enjoyable.

I’ve heard it described as Evil Dead II – (1987 movie) meets Naked Lunch – (1991 movie). I think it also has a bit of the spirit of They Live – (1988 movie). If you know and liked those films, you’ll like this one.

A must-watch.

New technology allows a vehicle to pass through solid matter, but something else is brought through.

This is a must-watch movie, not for its story and plot as-such, but for its feel. It has ideas which really stick. I think Buckaroo Banzai might be particularly cool for young boys.

  • Properly titled The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension

Born as the survivor of a bitten-pregnancy, a part-vampire “day walker” continues his crusade amidst one of their ranks’ power play for leadership.

A classic movie, before the whole superhero genre got entirely out of hand. It’s an unfortunate rewriting of the original comic book, but it does well with what it has. It’s blunt and stiff, yet entertaining.

It has only a couple of moments of technology which feel old, otherwise it has held up well.

The universe is actually ruled by an emperor, who toys with the Earth and gets the attention of a few people who try to stop him.

Fun and silly and not for me.

Leon Must Die - (2017 movie) poster

Entertainment > Movies >

A dying man wants to save himself by creating digital immortality without considering the consequences, and time travelers go back to murder him and save the future of humanity.

Fair, but it does have some significant holes in it. Nisan Arikan is beautiful, but that can’t make up for the flaws. It’s fair, but not recommended; it’s for the extreme collectors.

  • Trailer
  • aka Leon muss sterben
  • The movie itself says it’s 2016.
