I have nothing but positive things to say about this game. Except for the negative things.
I haven’t done a proper review, and might bother some time later.
Full ultrawide support, even in windowed fullscreen. It’s a big difference.

A procedurally generated survival game with shitty graphics, which became popular because it was first-to-market and took advantage of nostalgia.
Unfortunately, Minecraft was never completed and the author fucked off with the money to make another game. Even with extraordinary success, the author didn’t make good on promises and the game was never finished. (It would later be “finished” by having a recipe book concept and an “end”; neither of which are any good.)
I loved this game, and even bought it twice to support the developer, but because it was Java it would bring a computer to its knees. Being sold out to Microsoft (for their upcoming virtual reality stuff I’d bet) was bafflingly insulting.
I would try it again years later, and it hasn’t had basic improvements.

Roam around harassing NPCs and accidentally-clicking in combat.
It has some really obvious and fundamental flaws that make it just terrible to cope with. I feel like I have to struggle against its design. The abilities are buckshot across the interface, the inventory is a hot mess, and combat is awkward and unforgiving. The dialog trees are kind of stupid most of the time, and player customization isn’t particularly present, which is strange for a roleplaying game. I can only see that this has appeal because there have been no decent AAA games lately, and their variety is absolute shit.

Basically one of those old Flash games where you send units from left to right.
Straightforward and fun! Until you just die for reasons you can’t explain!

A pretty basic tower defence game, with the twist that enemies reach your core and carry off power thingies. I think I remember a Flash game like this.
It’s kinda neat, but reminiscent of old DOS games; not good enough.

A simple semi-roguelike tactics-esque game.
Lots of fun, albeit somewhat slow.

A pinball game which is absolutely nothing compared to Epic Pinball – (1993 game).
Wow the graphics are bad and the controls are bad.

A top-down strategy game.
I dunno, it’s slow and awkward and has more talking than playing. Maybe I’d just have to wade through for much more time before the real game happens, but I’m not going to give it that chance. A game should be fun immediately.
