A few stories about everyday people in a world without memories.
Slow and moody; very good.

Aliens drop by Earth and evil Humans shoot them down and mug them.
Nothing about the interface makes enough sense, and there are no hints as to how things work. It could have been made much better, even back in the day. I’m not going to forgive how bad it is, especially since there was zero effort by Steam to actually fix basic things like aspect ratio.
aka UFO: Enemy Unknown
TODO – There is another, XCOM:Enemy Unknown but it appears to be a remake/something and with DLC content:

A bad dad and some shitty kids run away when aliens come down and up and stomp around.
While it’s a great ride, it’s ultimately unsatisfying and can’t be recommended.

Some people struggle-ish to survive through a zombie apocalypse.
It’s a movie. It doesn’t have a lot of brains, but it’s somewhat funny at times.

Mad cow disease mutated and turned humans into zombies, ruining the world except for a handful of likely and unlikely survivors.
Fairly good. Sometimes a little funny too.

An enforcer for the survivors of a ruined world learns that he lives in a utopia that stagnates population.
Although it got slow later on, it’s quite nice even with its age.
Inspired by Logan’s Run – (1967 book), by William F. Nolan

A machine goes back in time to save it’s reprogrammer from another machine that was created thanks to another instance of that first machine having been sent back in time to kill that reprogrammer’s mother which created the timeline that made the machines in the first place. Or something.
A great movie, although I’m not sure if it could be watched on it’s own. Thankfully The Terminator – (1984 movie) is a must-watch.

Bad Guys want to blow up a shithole to make money in rebuilding.
It’s okay I guess, but the writing is off and it’s frequently a tired revisitation of the earlier movie.
Original title: Banlieue 13: Ultimatum

Merely adequate.

Everywhere but a valley is irradiated, and some people chat and farm.
Pointless.
