A fantastic game, the likes of which I have never seen.

You are part of an elite squad who freeze time to move near cover and get shot in the head.
I guess they didn’t play their own game, because there are obvious flaws. This would have been more fun if they got rid of the whole moving around like an RPG. Like the old X-COM ga– oh wait, the old games are just better. Why was this game made?

In a dystopic future akin to Brave New World – (1932 book), by Aldous Huxley, everyone is lost in a virtual reality, playing a game to take control of the world’s largest corporation.
This movie is parasitic to the childhoods of old men and permanent-children. It’s worth a watch if you’re over 40, otherwise it’ll be a fairly confusing mess of references.

A tactics game so good it’s worth buying a PlayStation 2 for. It got released on Steam so it’s a game so good it’s worth buying a PC for. :)

Master of Orion – (1993 game) but with updated graphics and a confusing interface. I expect would have loved this in the past, but now it’s just awkward. I’ll still tag this as ‘liked’, as it’s pretty good. It’s very hard in the eyes. Take a lot of breaks. Extremely stupidly hard.. and confusing. I’m shelving it. I only paid $12 USD for it, so it’s not a big loss.. still, I wish the UI was better and the tutorial was better and the gameplay was better.. |
