Rescued from an unknown realm, a demon, raised as a monster-hunting government agent, faces his destiny and the destruction of the world.
A rather good movie, because it features a relatable and mortal character. The time of its release was not saturated with this genre, so it was gave a strong impression. Even re-watching it was entertaining. I think this will hold up very well over time.

An fast, moderate-sized and extraordinarily cheap drive.
Refurbished, but these seem to be in good shape. Don’t expect the intel manufacturer’s warranty to have much, if any, time left. You’re leaning on newegg, and then perhaps your credit card’s insurance policy, if it has one.

was pushtotalk.nu
Implements push-to-talk functionality directly on an audio input device.
It toggles the audio device’s mute. Used as a global push-to-talk when a program does not support such a feature, such as with a web browser that does not currently have focus.

A stereo microphone just shy of being studio-quality. Very high quality and very highly recommended.
With no drivers needed, this thing has been tested and works on various Linux distributions, Windows XP, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. I’ve also tested it as an audio output device (a “sound card”) and it works great.
I might eventually add some notes.

Free Speech Isn’t Free – How 90 Men Stood Up Against The Establishment And Won, by Roosh Valizadeh
I like free speech, and already know the phrase “free speech isn’t free”, so this caught my attention.
It was cheap, and I’ve been making a habit of getting some more books in dead-tree format. I was bumbling around on Amazon when I found this. I have neither an idea who the author is nor do I know anything about this topic. I like that it’s “recent”.
After reading: It’s good storytelling, and even after its lengthy description of events I have definitely not heard of any of it. It describes the sorts of things people are willing to do once they succumb to an ideology, and the “two minutes of hate” they participate in. Even politicians must follow suit, if only with hollow rhetoric. Media are wholly in on it, as they are at best ambulance-chasers for entertainment-news, and at worst willing to start and stoke a fire to have any sort of relevancy.
- Available as an e-book.
