Surviving an assassination attempt but stranded on a hostile world, the eponymous anti-hero finds himself hunted for his bounty.

Decent, but I’d only recommend this for fans of the whole series. On it’s own, it’s not a particularly interesting movie.

A meteor (I think) strikes the Atlantic Ocean, sending tidal waves that not only scour shores but destroy entire continents, the resulting wave of which approaches Australia. Except the tidal wave is made of fire for some reason.

I’ve not much to say about it. It’s a decent movie.

The apocalypse happens, and a bunch of average celebrities try to survive.

Moderately terrible. Worth a watch if you like these particular actors and their previous works.

A bounty hunter hunts a bounty but there’s a princess therefore save the princess instead.

Oh god, this is like an episode of Hercules – The Legendary Journeys – (1995-1999 show). Old school TV-quality, reasonably fun for low expectations.

This is riding on the coat tails of the earlier actual-movie, desperately hoping that fans will consider all of this a “series”. Sigh, it is not.

A bounty hunter from an extinct tribe is hired to undermine the power of an evil king, but the woman he is meant to kill is hot, and complicates things.

As long as it is taken for what it is, it will be entertaining. It is an action movie through and through, and must not be taken as having much of a link to a historical past. It’s not serious, and not meant to be. It’s packed with action, has a reasonable story and its lead character is spectacular.

While the primary fleet is away, fresh-recruits are sent to investigate a distress call from an allied planet.

A reboot and alternate-timeline of the series. It’s “good”, but is also the bubblegum one ought to expect these days.

The Viking Sagas (1995) image

A prince struggles to avenge his father and free his country.

While watchable, it’s not particularly impressive. It’s not that it’s old, or B-movie or anything like that. It’s reasonable, but feels, somehow, “poor”. Not poor as in bad, but poor as in without wealth. It’s simple. Other than that, I have no complaints other than the lead character has a thick German accent. Like seriously thick. Like what the fuck were you thinking, thick. It’s like The 13th Warrior – (1999 movie) which had one guy with a crazy Irish accent.

Vampires are real, and a secret council, whose formation is never explained, support a good-vampire on her mission to mercilessly slaughter bad-vampires in search for the worst-vampire who she was told killed her father.

For a while I was quite captivated by this movie. It was good in every respect, but it seemed to take a turn for the worse half way through, and just kept sliding. Overall it’s good, but elements of it are too similar to other famous movies for me to really find it interesting, especially since those elements are rushed.

It’s decent enough to recommend for a one-time watch.
