A centuries-old man is embroiled in a sword-fight between other immortals.
This is one of those movies which forged my young self, but I cannot recommend to others. It definitely feels dated, and I doubt its ideas would be particularly shaping to others compared to the other movies created since this one.
In a sense, you could also see Unbreakable – (2000 movie).
 That borg-eye is never seen.

From a future destroyed by plague, a prisoner “volunteers” to be sent back in time to fetch pre-infection samples.
A great movie that stands apart both from its contemporaries and even from movies of today. It touches upon a lot of topics I find interesting in movies.

As part of a delaying tactic for an internal power struggle at the Central Intelligence Agency, an everyman is pointed out as a pawn to be followed as a delaying tactic.
A fantastic, classic, movie. It’s simple and with a light tone. I don’t think it’s particularly recommendable now, but I still like it.

Two young losers somehow make a hot woman who has magical powers.
One of the fundamental parts of this movie involves some really terrifyingly-old technology. Even back then it was comical. If that can be excused, the rest of this holds up perfectly.
So with that out of the way, I can highly recommend this. I know my nostalgia must cloud my judgement, but I still think it would be a fun movie for a first-timer. It’s bubblegum.
I’m not sure how this was rated PG-13, as there is nudity in a couple of places, like in a magazine.

A great movie through and through. Highly recommended and a welcome addition to my science fiction movie catalog.
