A sort of “Art of War” on the the topic of the more recent so-called “Social Justice Warriors”.

Highly recommended, though not necessarily because of its topic. With history and opinion, and descriptions of tactics and rhetoric, it’s a fascinating set of opinions, positions and stories. I didn’t understand half of its references, but this sort of book reveals a kind of contemporary philosophic writing that I find fascinating.

I read this just after Free Speech Isn’t Free – (2016 book), by Roosh V, which I think helped a lot.

A superhero-girl-witch movie. Adorable and stuff. Recommended for girls who are fans of this adorable trope genre.

Agents with a formerly-secret worldwide law-enforcement organization work to safeguard the world from the lesser challenges now too-frequent for superheroes alone.

Good enough, although so far it’s one of these episodic shows which has a new problem every episode.

I watched three episodes and liked it, but I took a long break and watched a fourth and couldn’t figure anything out or get interested again. I can’t recommend this except for those who are heavily hooked on those first few episodes and who intend to properly binge-watch it all.

A distracted surgeon crashes his car and is left with ruined hands, but he’s brought into a magic order who defend the planet and universe and stuff.

A decent movie, although fluffy and of narrow scope.

  • Tidy Bar was renamed to TidyBar
  • Linux distributions > Devuan is real!

  • My use of Transmission on Windows was updated to an unofficial 2.84.9 (rev. 14386) release.

    • They note that the official project will have their own Windows binaries.
  • Making a USB stick bootable continues to be a nightmare.

  • Slackware > Slackware 14.2 was renamed to remove “64bit”

    • After many, many, attempts, I cannot get this working at all.
  • Slackware > Slackware 14.1 was renamed to remove “32bit”

  • dm-crypt was thoroughly updated, and then I lost my notes, and then I updated it from memory.

    • This project is now abandoned, as Slackware 14.2 freezes on my computer.
  • LVM had an update pass for improvement.

  • Partition Alignment

    • cgdisk, the GPT-aware cfdisk-like partitioner, is said to automatically align.
